2018 Sports Medicine Symposium focuses on the overhead athlete

Register now for the 2018 Sports Medicine Symposium: State-of-the-art Care for the Overhead Athlete, taking place Friday, June 8-9, 2018 at the Omni Louisville Hotel and Norton Orthopedic & Hand Center.

Jointly provided by Norton Sports Health and KORT, the Sports Medicine Symposium is designed to provide physicians, physical therapists, athletic trainers and other health care clinicians with the latest scientific and clinical information about sports medicine, including injury prevention, medical and surgical treatments, and rehabilitative therapies for athletes. This year’s focus will address the mechanics of the overhead athlete and provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment protocols, as well as techniques for injury prevention.

In addition to Norton Orthopedic Specialists physicians scheduled to present, the symposium’s guest faculty consists of orthopedic surgeons and physical therapists from other parts of the country including Mercy Health – Cincinnati SportsMedicine & Orthopaedic Center in Cincinnati, Ohio and Panorama Orthopedics & Spine Center in Golden, Colorado.
