Charles B. Palmer IV, D.O., joins Norton Cancer Institute

Charles B. Palmer IV, D.O., is the newest gynecologic oncologist to join Norton Cancer Institute.

Dr. Palmer earned his medical degree from Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine in Kentucky. He completed his residency at Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center, South Carolina, specializing in obstetrics and gynecology, followed by a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at WellSpan York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Palmer is certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics, among others.

Dr. Palmer specializes in diagnosing and treating cancers of the female reproductive system, including ovarian, uterine and cervical cancers. He offers patients the latest targeted therapies, including minimally invasive robotic surgery.
