Ayryn P. Chilton-Gelfo, PA-C, has joined Norton Heart & Vascular Institute. The physician assistant is seeing patients in offices in downtown Louisville, on the Norton Audubon Hospital, Norton Brownsboro Hospital and Norton Healthcare – St. Matthews campuses, and on Dixie Highway.
Most recently, Ayryn worked at Norton Healthcare emergency departments for 14 years. Before that, she was the sole advanced practice provider working with three cardiologists at a practice in Englewood, Florida.
Ayryn has been certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants since 2003. Ayryn received her Master of Science in physician assistant studies from the University of Kentucky in Lexington in 2003 after earning a Bachelor of Science in biology from the school in 1999.
