Register now for the 2019 Oncology Symposium

Register now for the 2019 Oncology Symposium: Updates in Hematology and Blood Cancers, provided by Norton Cancer Institute with support from Gouverneur H. Nixon Jr., through the Norton Healthcare Foundation. The symposium takes place on Friday, March 8, 2019, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Norton Healthcare Learning Center, Suite 200, 9500 Ormsby Station Road, Louisville, Kentucky.

This activity is designed for physicians and other health care providers who are involved in diagnosing and providing care for patients with blood cancers and blood disorders.

“This field is changing rapidly and can touch many different providers,” said Joseph M. Flynn, D.O., MPH, FACP, chief administrative officer, Norton Medical Group, and physician-in-chief, Norton Cancer Institute. “As oral treatments become more readily available, it’s important for primary care providers to stay up to date on medicines and how they’re used in treatment. There also will be topics for specialists who care for patients with bleeding issues, and providers who care for women during pregnancy, as well as topics that will interest a variety of care providers.”

The symposium features a mini-session format to fit your schedule and allow for convenient participation in person or in the live webinar from your phone, tablet or computer. The sessions will provide the latest updates to assist you in providing quality care to your hematology patients. Attend for the afternoon, select one-hour programs or stop in for individual 20-minute sessions that interest you. Continuing education credits and lunch will be provided, and exhibitors will be on-site at the event.
