Norton Children's Advanced Eyecare, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, and a part of Norton Children’s Medical Group, is seeking a residency-trained optometrist to join our growing team. The selected candidate will provide high-quality care with a focus on primary eye care in children. Norton Children’s Advanced Eye Care shares a vision with the University of Louisville School of Medicine’s Department of Pediatrics and Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences to grow and further expand our services with innovation and passion for the care of children with ophthalmologic conditions.
The selected candidate will collaborate with our current pediatric ophthalmologist to perform routine eye exams in children, detecting and treating refractive errors, amblyopia, strabismus and common pediatric eye issues. The position is an academic appointment as well as a clinical opportunity, with a responsibility to train ophthalmology residents and technicians.
