Each year, as we look back over our progress and program highlights, we are struck by a singular fact. Time and again, what we are able to achieve is the result of exceptional teamwork. Our dedicated and innovative medical and radiation oncologists are specialists in their fields who work alongside others with expertise in cancer care, including surgeons, nutritionists, dietitians, social workers, speech therapists, music and art therapists – the list goes on – to provide care that is tailored to patients.
Throughout this Clinical Update, you will see this teamwork exhibited through our multidisciplinary team settings – which include programs for breast cancer, lung cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, head and neck tumors and brain tumors – as well as through our robust clinical research program and comprehensive support care.
Our multidisciplinary clinics work closely with referring providers to build comprehensive care plans for our patients. We understand that a patient’s relationship with their referring provider is important and that is why we consider you an essential part of our team approach.
