Nyagon G. Duany, M.D., is the newest orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist with Norton Orthopedic Institute. 

Dr. Duany earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis. She completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Howard University, Washington, D.C., and a sports medicine fellowship with the University of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Dr. Duany has provided team coverage for a number of high school and college sports teams, including football and men’s and women’s basketball at the University of Cincinnati, and football and women’s lacrosse at Howard University.

She is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. While her primary focus is on sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery, she also sees patients with general orthopedic issues including fractures, arthritis and joint replacement surgery.
