Norton EpicLink streamlines referring providers’ patient management

Norton Healthcare is making it easier for community providers to ensure continuity of care for their patients by accessing patient information in real time through Norton EpicLink. Referring providers can use the secure online tool to access their patients’ charts, make adult or pediatric specialty referrals, make diagnostic referrals and get real-time alerts about patient encounters.

“This is a real-time tool that helps ensure the continuity of care,” said Leigh Mayes, Norton Healthcare system director for division operations projects. “With Norton EpicLink, we’re giving providers who aren’t employed by Norton Healthcare much of the same access as our employed providers to make referrals and stay on top of their patients’ care in real time.”

Norton EpicLink helps you ensure continuity of care with almost instant access to information about any of your patients’ encounters with Norton Healthcare hospitals, outpatient facilities, emergency departments, specialist referrals and more.

“Providers now have access to a wealth of data about their patients, including clinical data, discharge summaries, medication lists and coverage data,” Leigh said.
