Kimberly S. Barnes, APRN, CNM, has joined Norton Women’s Care as a certified nurse midwife, seeing patients on the campuses of Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital and Norton Brownsboro Hospital.

Kimberly comes to Norton Women’s Care with more than five years of experience providing antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and gynecological care. She has 12 years of experience as a nurse in a neonatal intensive care unit, in labor and delivery and in mother-baby care.

While working as a certified nurse midwife in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, since 2016, Kimberly provided care during the antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum periods. She provided gynecological care across the lifespan including for annual visits, birth control and menopause issues. As a registered nurse at an Elizabethtown hospital, Kimberly was certified in obstetrics and electronic fetal monitoring.
