We routinely see patients who have undergone gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy or lap band surgeries elsewhere. We will see almost every transfer. Patients who want to follow up with Norton Healthcare need only to provide records from their previous surgery or surgeries and schedule an office visit.

Follow-up is especially important for patients who have undergone lap band surgery because the band needs to be monitored and adjusted, and because counseling and coaching after lap band surgery is important.
