Course description
The Emergency Neurological Life Support (ENLS) Course is designed to help health care professionals improve patient care and outcomes during the critical first hours of a patient’s neurological emergency. ENLS demonstrates a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach and provides a consistent set of protocols, practical checklists, decision points and suggested communication to use during patient management. Content includes emergency management of traumatic brain and spine injury, hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke, and much more.

Education credits
The Neurocritical Care Society will award continuing education credits to physicians and nurses who successfully complete the online certification exam. After participants pass the exam, they may download the completion certificate from the ENLS account and collect a total of 15 continuing education units (CEUs) for the course. CEUs are provided by Ciné-Med Inc. and the Neurocritical Care Society and are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education, American Nurses Credentialing Center and Commission on Accreditation for Prehospital Continuing Education.
