Norton Cancer Institute is expanding access to high-quality oncology care with the opening of a new location in Bullitt County, bringing comprehensive cancer services closer to home for patients in this growing community. The site will be the first in the area to offer medical oncology and on-site infusion services, significantly reducing the need for patients to travel for consultations, follow up visits and chemotherapy. Infusion services will be available five days a week, ensuring timely access to care and greater convenience for patients undergoing active treatment. Cardiology services from Norton Heart & Vascular Institute also will come to Bullitt County at the end of the summer.
Led by Chandler H. Park, M.D., medical, genitourinary and thoracic oncologist, the Bullitt County Norton Cancer Institute office will provide care for patients with cancer and benign hematologic conditions. Dr. Park brings subspecialty expertise in genitourinary and lung cancers, along with a strong background in immunotherapy and academic medicine. This location will follow a collaborative care model, with a physician and advanced practice providers available, allowing for consistent access and continuity of care. This expansion reinforces Norton Cancer Institute’s commitment to meeting patients where they are while maintaining the clinical excellence and multidisciplinary support that referring providers expect.
