Norton Audubon Hospital Podiatric Residency Program

The Norton Audubon Hospital Podiatric Residency Program has three years of rigorous training in both inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on medical and surgical management, including credentialing in reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery (PMSR/RRA). It is accredited by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education. Established in 1998, it was the first program of its kind in Kentucky and continues to be recognized as a leading residency nationwide.

A distinguished faculty of podiatric and other physicians give residents the benefit of a professional environment in which to enhance their medical and surgical skills. The faculty includes physicians certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

This comprehensive program fulfills all requirements for certification in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and podiatric orthopedics and primary podiatric medicine by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Our goal is not only to equip residents with the skills necessary for these certifications but also to establish a foundation for excellence in podiatric practice.
