Anna V. Bite, D.O., has joined Norton Neuroscience Institute as a neurologist with a special interest in multiple sclerosis and other inflammatory diseases of the central nervous system. Those conditions include transverse myelitis, optic neuritis, neuromyelitis optica (NMO), neurosarcoidosis, NMDA-receptor encephalitis and central nervous system vasculitis.
Dr. Bite also has specialized training in the management of severe spasticity.
Dr. Bite received her doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Missouri. She completed a neurology residency at Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami, Florida. She completed a fellowship in multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Bite sees patients on the Norton Healthcare – St. Matthews campus.
