Norton Healthcare is pleased to welcome Kelly C. McCants, M.D. back to the community, and have him lead the Norton Heart & Vascular Institute Advanced Heart Failure Program. Dr. McCants earned his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship with the University of Louisville School of Medicine, and his heart failure/transplant fellowship with New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center, New York. Dr. McCants is board certified in cardiovascular disease and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology, and most recently led the heart failure and transplant program at Piedmont Health in Atlanta, Georgia.
